Chrissy and I had MLK day off from work so we decided to hike up to Larch Mountain!
We started at Multnomah Falls and hiked the 1.5 miles to the top of the 160 foot waterfall.
Multnomah Falls
The trail is an endless amount of switchbacks, but offers some cool views of the falls and the Columbia River Gorge

A short while later, we made it to the top of the falls! It's a pretty incredible view.

The path then splits and takes you up another 6 miles to the top of Larch Mountain.
We didn't have enough time to complete the 6 mile trip to the top, but we did make it up a ways to a couple other amazing waterfalls.
We had much nicer weather on the way back down. We even saw a rainbow on the Columbia River!
Bonus picture of a tree with lots of woodpecker holes! So cool!
So long,
