This past weekend, Chrissy and I traveled to Smith Rock in the high desert of Oregon. The drive led us through canyons and over rivers.
It's amazing to be able to drive from lush green forests and a rainy climate to sunny desert in two and a half hours.
Chrissy and I hiked around these canyons before setting up camp near Smith Rock. The temperature was great during the day, but it dropped to 30 degrees at night! It was definitely the harshest conditions we have camped in, but it was so much fun and we came prepared with lots of warm blankets!
The following day we headed to Smith Rock State Park.
